Blackboard Quick Tip: Browse Adaptive Release Status

Here’s a neat trick to see who in your course can see what content.

From the Full Grade Center, click on the edit chevron to the right of the student’s name (I’m using myself in the example below). Then click on Browse Adaptive Release Status.

browse-adaptive-release-status-1You’ll get a popup with a list of all the content in the course with eye icons next to each; eye-with-strike-out means that student can’t see that content.

adaptive-releaseThis is pretty handy for troubleshooting adaptive release, and for checking your work when you use adaptive release to allow deadline exceptions and the like.
