Blackboard Quick Tip: Get Test Data from the ‘Access Log’

Here’s a simple way to get test-taker information, including the “save times” for individual questions.

To access a test’s attempt log, go to the “grade attempt view” for the test in question. (Go to Full Grade Center, hover over the cell for a given student’s attempt and then click on “attempt” at the bottom.)

Next, click “Test Information” to expand. This area has shortcuts to clear the attempt or even edit the test. But to see more information, click on Access Log.

The popup shows the time per question for the student as well as “saves” per question.
