Blackboard Tip: Run an Overall Summary of User Activity Report

Before you submit your Student Participation Roster to MyWay, you may find this report helpful for reviewing user activity in your Blackboard course.

How to run the Overall Summary of User Activity report:
1.    Go to Evaluation > Course Reports, click its chevron button and select Run.

2.    Select an output format.
3.    Set the start date to 9/02/2014.
4.    In the Select Users box, select all the students. To do this, click the first name, hold down a Shift key, and press the down arrow (↓) key on your keyboard until all names are selected.
5.    Then click Submit.

In PDF format, page 8 shows on which dates students have accessed the course. There’s also a “last access” column by default in the Full Grade Center; this report will show all access dates, though, not just the most recent one.
