Blackboard Quick Tip: Use Return Receipts when Sending Emails

We’re still looking into this, but, from what I can see, there’s just one little, easy-to-miss setting in the Send Email tool that allows you to see who you actually sent your email to (it doesn’t appear in the “to” field once you get outside of Blackboard). Here’s how to enable it.

Compose your message and then, before sending, check the Return Receipt box at the bottom of the screen.

return1Blackboard always sends a copy of the message to the sender. When you check this box, though, that message also includes a list of the message’s recipients.
