Blackboard Quick Tip: Editing Tests

In moving a course from ANGEL to Blackboard, your course retains all its “stuff,” it just may need a bit of editing and updating to get ready for fall and subsequent quarters.

In addition, you may need to add or subtract test questions, or you may be introducing some new exams this quarter. We are not recommending that you keep old tests in a hidden folder because you may have extra grade center columns. (You can move old copies into your personal repository course instead.)

But, because of the way things came over from ANGEL, deleting tests can be a little tricky, so here’s a video explaining how to do it.

Instructors editing test questions need to access them by going to Course Tools > Tests, Surveys and Pools > Tests. Remember, this is editing the tests, not the test options, which comes from editing via the lessons area.

Is there a way to view/print all the questions including distractors?options for one test? I’d like to see all the questions and have not been able to find a way to do that as we did in the Angel preview function.
