Select MCC Summer Courses Offered in Blackboard Learn

This summer, a small group of MCC online students and faculty will have the opportunity to help shape our new learning management system.

MCC is offering six online courses delivered via Blackboard Learn, our new LMS, in the summer quarter, which starts on Friday. The Blackboard pilot courses come from a wide range of program areas but are all online-only and  led by experienced online instructors.

Beginning with the fall quarter, all online, hybrid and LMS-enhanced courses will use Blackboard and ANGEL will be disabled.

Instructional Design Services will be working throughout the summer to support the pilot users and develop Blackboard training materials. You’ll see some posts here on the IDeaS blog with Blackboard tips, tricks and recommendations. We welcome feedback from pilot users, blog readers and anyone with 2 cents to share.

Contact us, by email, or through an anonymous form. We’re a little busy, but also very excited to learn a new system and provide some new opportunities to faculty and students, all while maintaining MCC’s high-quality course offerings.
