Celebrate Digital Learning Day with Free Resources

Wednesday is Digital Learning Day, a “nationwide celebration of innovative teachers and common-sense, effective applications of digital learning in America’s schools that support teachers, improve learning, and provide options for students to achieve at their highest potential,” according to its organizers.Many of the lesson plans tied-in with Digital Learning Day celebration have a K12 focus, but not all, and PBS Learning Media is also hosting some free webinars aimed to inspire innovation in educators of all stripes. One titled “Be Inspired, Be An Innovator!” runs from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday.

The National Digital Learning Policy panel, organized by the Alliance for Excellence in Education, is a free webcast, running from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (EST) Wednesday, broadcasting from the Library of Congress. Register here.

Edutopia has a great list of resources, including videos from past events and detailed articles for learning more about online learning and teaching strategies.
