We’re taking a look at the Instructional Design Services department one member at a time, highlighting new ideas in instructional technology and what each IDS member can do for MCC instructors.
Darlene began working at Metropolitan Community College in 2001 and has spent all but the first five months in IDS. Previously, she worked in real estate and insurance customer service. She loves spending time with her seven grandchildren, cooking and reading.

What do you do at IDS?
I support the entire department, keep all files in order, assist with personnel and hiring, help with any clerical needs, assist with Metro and More shows. I enter training classes and faculty workshops into Colleague and update the digital signage. I update information on the web about equipment in the college Technology Classrooms, order supplies, keep the office organized, and take care of the plants.
